What if you could prevent

your worst day?

Currently

AdobeStock_551519588.jpeg

The reality is:

Most jurisdictions in the USA do not require fire sprinkler protection for single-family homes.  Although, they are required in most every other type of structure.

Without this requirement most existing homes do not have protection.  On top of that new home builders are choosing not to provide protection.  Stating they need to reduce costs to remain competitive in their market.

The results are:

The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) estimates that in the United States:

  • A fire department responds to a fire every 21 seconds

  • One home structure fire is reported every 88 seconds

  • One home fire-related injury occurs every 53 minutes

  • One home fire-related death occurs every 3 hours and 14 minutes

In 2022, 1,504,500 fires resulted in 3,790 civilian deaths and 13,250 injuries. In addition, there were 96 on-duty firefighter deaths.  Estimated property damages of $18 billion.

Why

Family_edited.jpg

The safety of oneself and all that are close to us is every person’s top priority.

We spend a good amount of time and money making sure our families are as safe and healthy as can be.

Some actions are required by law, such as child restraint seats.  But if this were not a requirement, would you still require it for your child?

If so, the requirement by law does not affect the reason for its purchase.

The value of a home fire sprinkler system goes beyond life safety.  Increased home value, lower property insurance costs and added resale selling point.  Beyond the value of peace of mind.

Having a home fire sprinkler system is something to be proud of, something to show off and not an eyesore as they're aesthetically pleasing these days.

You are proud of your family and the home you made.  You will be just as proud of the system protecting them.

Technology today allows for concealed fire sprinkler cover plates to be printed to match any surface.

How

The process is:

The first step in either a new construction or existing home is determining the fire sprinkler system design.

We will review your home size and room layouts to determine where and how many fire sprinklers are required.

Once we have determined the fire sprinkler locations we can determine the pipe supply routing through the home back to your water supply connection.

Each fire sprinkler has a piped water supply utilizing pex, cpvc or steel piping.  The piped water is supplied by either your city water supply, well pump or an added combination water tank and pump that we will install in your home.

Hydraulic calculations will be performed to determine maximum fire sprinkler spacing, pipe sizes, pipe routing (single or looped supply), required gallons per minute (GPM), required total gallons and required pressure (PSI).

We will also review the design of the fire sprinkler system layout with you, the homeowner to make sure its appearance is satisfactory.  If we are protecting an existing home we will also review the pipe locations to determine together where we want to install it.  Such as if we need to remove portions of finished walls and/or ceilings we can decide which will be best.  Based on your desire we can completely hide the pipe behind your existing ceilings and/or walls or add a soffit at the corner of your ceilings and walls to hide the pipe.  We will review with you and let you decide.  Maybe an area in your home needs a fresh coat of paint, or maybe all of it does?  We can coordinate our installation within those areas so a wall, ceiling or entire areas get a fresh paint job with your fire sprinkler installation.

The second step is to submit the finished design to your authority having jurisdiction (AHJ) for a fire sprinkler permit.  Your AHJ could be your local city fire department / building department or the State Fire Marshal if you do not have a local agency.

The third step is to install the fire sprinkler system once a fire sprinkler permit has been issued.  We will utilize the fire sprinkler design to locate the fire sprinklers, route the piping and connect to the water supply.  We will test the operation of the system to make sure it operates as designed.

The fourth step is to have the AHJ review the installation, review the operation of the system and sign off on the permit.

The fifth and final step is to review the installation and operation of the system with you, the homeowner.  We will provide you with a complete understanding of your new fire sprinkler system.  We will show you how it operates and will train you on what to do if it does.

Of course, we will always be one phone call away in case you have any questions or need us to stop by.

The results are:

A complete fire sprinkler system that will protect your home, your valuables and your loved ones.

We know you do your best to protect what is most important to you.  But in reality, you cannot always be there.  Thankfully, now you will not need to be.  At least for the one thing you can prevent and one less worry in your life.

Cost

The cost of a fire sprinkler system varies depending upon; the size of the home, what kind of water supply is available and if the home is new construction versus existing.

Therefore, each home will be reviewed and priced individually.

But in any case, the cost of the fire sprinkler system will be included in your homes equity.  Meaning, whatever the cost is there is an equal or added value to your home.

A fire sprinkler system is just like all other systems in your home when it comes to value.  Plumbing, mechanical, electrical, etc. are all factored into your homes value.  Once a fire sprinkler system is installed, it too adds value to your home.

As a result, its cost can be included in your construction mortgage for new construction.  If your fire sprinkler system is installed in an existing home its cost can be included in a home equity loan or as a refinance of your entire home.  The choice is yours.

At the end of the day, you will have a life saving system that added value to your home and is standing by to protect you and all that is important to you.

What else can you purchase that can do that for you?
